Job Description: Apex Systems is seeking a SharePoint Consultant

We are currently seeking an organized, detailed oriented, and Senior level Consultant to join our team. The Senior Consultant will work with agile scrum teams, one for SharePoint and one of Dynamics, to maintain the health of the environment and complete various customer ticket requests. This will include patching, monitoring, maintenance, customer requests and reports, and keeping up the health of the farm. Work with scrum teams that provide platform support for SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Online, CRM, and Power Apps.

Job Responsibilities:
  • SharePoint migrations to SharePoint online.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
  • Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.
  • You will design, deploy and test solution components within environments of medium to large size and complexity
  • Attend pre design meetings and work with the customer to understand change requirements and make the appropriate recommendations
  • Develop technical solution proposals and technical specifications based on functional requirements
  • Participate in the assessment of the customer environment and their requirements and documents results properly
  • Identify and escalate problems, maintain and repair existing applications
  • Development of SharePoint components (web parts, application pages, page layouts, ) for enterprise scale Portal and Collaboration solution
  • Coordinate with the migration team to move and validate the content
  • Technical design authority - internally recognized as highly competent in technical areas, will review and participate in benchmarking, installation, upgrade, configuration, deployment and testing activity

Required Skills:
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or similar
  • Experience with migrating an on-prem SharePoint environment in cloud
  • Experience with an on-prem SharePoint environment in cloud
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365
  • Experience with ShareGate migration tool
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a SharePoint developer
  • High-level coding skills
  • Ability to solve complex software issues
  • Ability to project manage
  • Detail orientated
  • Self-motivated
Desired Skills:
  • Highly experienced with PowerApps, flow, and O365 tools and how they work together
  • Familiar with agile concepts
  • Team player
  • SharePoint designer experience

  • Understanding of converting legacy workflows to flow
