HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Serve as the primary finance business partner to the Plant Manager, providing financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support operational and business decisions.Develop and implement actions and financial plans to achieve operational targets, strategic objectives, and customer requirements.Analyze manufacturing performance and cost variances, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance plant profitability.Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate reporting of the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and supporting schedules.Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Coordinate and support the annual budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes for the plant.Monitor internal controls and financial processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions, physical inventory counts, and inventory valuation.Perform fixed asset accounting, capitalization reviews, depreciation analysis, and fixed asset inventory reconciliations.Review and maintain standard cost calculations for existing and new products.Conduct detailed analysis of material consumption, material price, labor, freight, overhead, and scrap variances, providing actionable recommendations.Support capital expenditure requests through financial analysis, ROI calculations, and business case development.Collaborate with operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts.Assist with internal and external audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards and company reporting requirements.Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
