- Accountable for the evaluation, selection, and implementation of project requirements, which often include developing new techniques and/or incorporating new technologies.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with assigned staff, management of key business units, vendors, consultants/contractors, and other operational units within Information Services.
- Participate in division and unit planning processes.
- Supervise the execution and maintenance of systems and/or services assigned to the team.
- Responsible for tactical and operational planning for a one-to-three-year window for the area of responsibility.
- 10 years of total experience in IT.
- 2 years of experience as a Sr. System Administrator or Lead Developer.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning and Processes.
- Experience with database management platforms and the software used to create and manage them.
- Detailed understanding of networking platforms (telecommunications, data & voice) and the software used to administer them.
- Experience with computing platforms (mainframe, midrange, Intel) and systems software used by the platforms.
- Experience with storage platforms (DASD & Tape) and the software used for their management.
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information & Related Technology (COBIT) practices.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations that govern the corporation (HIPAA, SOX, SAS70, etc.).
- Experience with browser-based development technologies.
- Experience with object-oriented design technologies.
- Understanding of service Level agreements and operational Level agreements.
