Accounting Assistant

Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Assistant to join our team located in LEXINGTON, Kentucky. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for processing orders, maintaining meticulous records, and managing customer inquiries. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, allowing you to be part of our team for a long-term period.Responsibilities Conduct diligent research and pricing for products Generate accurate quotes for clients Efficiently process client orders Ensure seamless communication with suppliers for order processing Oversee the entire process of shipping and delivery of orders Regularly follow up with clients Perform weekly accounting and bookkeeping tasks Utilize Adobe Illustrator for creating or adjusting artwork for imprinting Provide exceptional customer support while managing client accounts Handle accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role or similar position Proficient in accounting functions and principles Knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations Proven experience in providing customer support Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using various accounting software Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
