Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry. This position is based in Bowling Green, Kentucky and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing high volume full cycle accounts payable, being the point of contact for vendors, and maintaining accurate customer records.Responsibilities: Accurately process high volume full cycle accounts payable. Act as the main point of contact for vendors to resolve discrepancies. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintain and update customer credit records in a timely manner. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Quickbooks, and SAP to manage and organize data. Conduct account reconciliations and check runs regularly. Manage and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Efficiently handle invoice processing and data entry tasks. Utilize tech-savvy skills to optimize account payable processes. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Machinery Manufacturing industry Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel software Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks software Experience with SAP software Excellent attention to detail and organization skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
