Description We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to oversee the payment transactions of our company. The responsibilities include monitoring all payments and expenditures, processing invoices, managing vendor and supplier relationships, and accurately recording all transactions in our financial database.Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices as well as check requests.

Manage the payment process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.

Reconcile vendor invoices, matching them with purchase orders and packing slips.

Prepare and perform cheque runs or electronic transfers.

Maintain and setup vendor files and record in the accounting system.

Respond to all vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and cheque status.

Analyze invoice and expense reports, resolve invoice discrepancies and issues, and prepare aging reports.

Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports relating to accounts payable for management review.

Assist with month end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits.

Proven working experience as an accounts payable clerk

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software packages.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent data entry skills along with an aptitude for numbers

Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.

Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
