Description For more information contact Stacey Bowman at 859-788-3661We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Sr. Level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also manage customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions.Responsibilities: Ensure the precise and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Manage and oversee customer accounts, taking necessary actions when required. Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. Maintain and update customer credit records accurately. Work with remote team members for the reconciliation of credit card accounts. Use accounting software systems such as QuickBooks for transaction processing and record-keeping. Apply account coding and accrual accounting principles in daily operations. Carry out regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Use Automated Clearing House (ACH) for facilitating electronic transactions.Requirements The applicant must have 3 or more years of experience in a senior role within Accounts Payable. Proficiency in account coding is required. The candidate should be well-versed with various accounting software systems. The applicant should have experience with Concur expense management. Proficiency in data processing is a key requirement for this role. Must have a solid understanding and experience of various accounting functions. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP). The applicant must be knowledgeable in accrual accounting. Experience in auditing is a fundamental requirement for this role. Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is crucial.
