Automotive Supervisor Role- Louisville, KYJob DescriptionThese supervisors will oversee UAW employees within different areas of the plant. They will be responsible for managing 50-90 employees in the department, ensuring daily tasks are completed and holding team members accountable to follow policies and procedures.Responsibilities

Provide supervision in a union environment.
Facilitate material handling and logistics operations.
Make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
Previous supervision experience.
Experience supervising in a union environment.
Experience working within an Automotive environment, preferably an OEM or tier 1 supplier.
Basic computer literacy, specifically with Excel.
Bachelor's degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS Degree would be beneficial.
3-5 years of supervision experience within an Automotive facility.
Recommendations from any Ford Management employee would be a huge asset.
Thick skin and strong soft skills are extremely important in this type of position.

The environment is very fast-paced, requiring quick decision-making skills. Business casual attire is appropriate, including polo shirts and golf shirts. This is a swing shift position rotating every 3 months between A, B, and C crew. A crew runs Monday-Thursday from 6am-4:30pm, B crew runs Tuesday-Friday from 6pm-4:30am, and C crew runs Friday/Saturday from 6am-4:30pm and Sunday/Monday night from 6pm-4:30am.
