Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist. This role focuses on collecting outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and other aspects of collections. A key part of the job is to ensure the maintenance of complete and accurate credit files and records on all accounts. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct collection efforts with customers through phone and email Regularly run Accounts Receivable reports and discuss past due customer accounts with respective salesmen Determine credit holds as needed and create new customer accounts in the computer system Arrange payment plans with customers when necessary and support the maintenance of accurate credit files and records on all accounts Handle customer inquiries professionally and adhere to established credit policies and procedures Utilize accounting software systems and CRM for managing customer accounts and collection processes Answer inbound calls from customers and provide quality customer service Perform billing functions and monitor aging reports for customer accounts Use problem-solving skills to analyze solutions and implement changes when required Maintain a professional demeanor and abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company.Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with CRM Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls Knowledge of Billing Functions Understanding of Collection Processes Experience with Aging Reports Excellent Customer Service skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
