Description We are offering an opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity with the potential for long-term engagement. Responsibilities: Handle commercial account collections efficiently Utilize your knowledge of collection processes to optimize recovery efforts Provide excellent customer service while performing collection activities Manage commercial collections effectively to ensure timely recovery Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to their accounts Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed Ensure accurate processing and recording of customer credit applications Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit information Strive for continuous improvement in collections - both consumer and commercial. Requirements Proficiency in Collection Processes is required Demonstrable experience with Collections - Consumer is essential Familiarity with Collections - Commercial is expected Commercial Collections skills are a must Prior experience in the Wholesale Distribution industry is preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other related software Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently Must have a customer service oriented approach to work Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
