Concrete Worker

As a Concrete Worker with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support our customers on upcoming commercial projects located in Clarksville, TN and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll earn up to 32 an hour based on your skillset, enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits. If you’re experienced in all phases of concrete construction—from forming and tying rebar to finishing and clean-up—we want you on our team. Hours: 5 X 8's

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and construction drawings

- Set forms for footings, slabs, walls, curbs, and structural elements

- Accurately tie rebar, wire mesh, and structural steel according to spec

- Pour, screed, finish, and cure concrete for commercial and civil applications

- Operate concrete tools and machinery: vibrators, floats, trowels (power & hand), saws, etc.

- Maintain safety compliance at all times (OSHA-minded is a must)

- Collaborate with foremen, trades, and project managers to stay on schedule

- Mentor apprentices or less experienced team members, when needed

- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment

REQUIREMENTS:

- Be at least 18 years of age

- 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience (commercial, industrial, or heavy civil preferred)

- Proficient with formwork, rebar tying, and flatwork finishing

- Able to work off blueprints and layout plans independently

- Must own standard hand tools and PPE

- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions

- Strong work ethic and team-first mentality
