Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer (Up to 50% travel and hybrid schedule)Job Description:

Supporting start up of new tire and wheel assembly plants from inception to completion

Managing implementation of new capital equipment projects

Interacting with customers and suppliers for requirements and specifications

Gathering costs and estimates, procurement of equipment, bids and quotes

Issuing PO's to vendors

Overseeing installation and launch of capital equipment, meeting deadlines, and supporting cycle times

PLC troubleshooting and problem solving with Allen Bradley and Siemens TIA portal

Review and monitor PLC changes in all facilities

Reviewing electrical drawings, cell layouts, and plant floor layouts

Hotline support

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor in Engineering or relevant experience in lieu of degree

Strong knowledge in PLC troubleshooting and programming, servos, HMI

Installation

CAPEX projects

Reading and modifying electrical drawings
