We are looking for an IT Support to work at the Correctional Facilities in LaGrange, KY. This position will be stationed at KY State Reformatory but will also assist in covering the other three facilities (KCIW-Women, Luther Luckett and Roederer) for vacations, sick days, etc.Along with desktop duties which include working on tablets, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and phones, the candidate may be required to assist with security cameras, servers and network switches. The IT Support Tech must be able to pass a DOC background check and extensive drug test prior to starting. DOC holds training once a month, but it can last up to three weeks. The first week is prison specific but there is also a two week new employee orientation (NEO) which is mandatory before they start working as a Tech. It teaches them how to work, adapt, and conduct themselves in a prison atmosphere. This position provides desktop support to the DOC staff but they will interact or be among the inmates as they are used for work detail, etc. The Company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit and business needs.
