Director of Sequencing Sales is responsible for all revenue growth for the Sequencing business unit for all products and services. This position will be responsible for the total Sequencing revenue requiring coordination with Eurofins Genomics account managers and marketing team.  They will set goals, compare performance to goals, provide detail forecasts, and assess current team processes and procedures.  They will be responsible to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.  They will provide assessment of individual performance through observation and suggest improvements and corrective actions as needed. They will actively engaged with the marketing group to position our products and services in the market.   The majority of customer contact is face to face which requires strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build a compelling case to buy your products and services.

Responsibilities Include:To be effective you will need to have commanding knowledge of our products and services, target customers, competition in the marketplace, and industry trendsImplement sales plan to promote growth of our products and servicesConduct visits and meetings with proposed / current clients within North AmericaPerforming sales presentations on complex scientific productsManage sales productivity software tools for effectively tracking selling activitiesCollect competitive information about clients and competition to assist in the development of marketing and sales plansExperience in setting sales goalsProvide reporting to management on a regular basis on region developments
