Job Title: EDM OperatorJob DescriptionAs an EDM Operator, you will perform required operations on EDM machines, including loading and unloading parts, inspecting parts, and preparing electrodes. You will also be responsible for cleaning, performing preventive maintenance, and making minor adjustments on EDM machines. Your role involves preparing various logs and records to document machine operation and daily production, entering required data into the computer, and transporting parts to appropriate locations. You will maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area, and interact with various groups and individuals including supervisors and other shop personnel. Furthermore, you will set up and switch jobs as required, maintain excellent attendance, verify part conformity, and manage scrap while seeking corrective action. You will work with either conventional or 5-axis EDM machines to produce turbine engine aerospace parts, focusing on high quality to reduce part scrapping.Hard Skills
