Housekeeper needed

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties

Thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces?

Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping and vacuuming. Some of our floors are laminate; some are carpet.

Restock supplies, including toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities, to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Please conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues as soon as possible.

Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike.

Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or upon request.

Support housekeeping management by maintaining a mental inventory so we can ensure supplies are well-stocked by letting your manager know when you are low on something.

Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing friendly service and addressing guest requests professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.

Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles to enhance guest satisfaction.

Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums.

Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and walking across large areas.
