Title: Knowledge Management Analyst Rate: $20-25 Per HourPosition Type: 12 Month Contract to StartLocation: Remote, operating on EST or CSTWork Requirements: US Citezen, Holders, or Authorized to Work in USJob Description:Assist in Upskilling and Knowledge Management focuses, including:

  • Designing and codifying a technology knowledge management practice in a centralized repository that is clear and easy to follow
  • Mapping out dependencies within, expounding upon, and coordinating knowledge management project work to meet various due dates
  • Creating, duplicating, and modifying dashboards to increase data utilization
  • Maintaining service level agreements on learning or access requests
  • Drafting, reviewing, editing, and/or gathering feedback on articles and practices
  • Developing PDL-specific application workflows and learning material
  • Developing/revising learning material around concepts like automation, TDD, Unit testing, CI/CD, and others to increase the organizational knowledge baseline
  • Partnering with software development, delivery, architecture, and engineering functions to understand technology trends that will impact required technology skills
  • Ideating on and implementing novel ways to enable the transfer of critical knowledge and skills between employees using peer coaching, targeted mentoring, job shadowing, paired programming, expert communities of practice, and other knowledge sharing techniques
  • Identifying key certifications that will benefit product and development teams and facilitate preparatory knowledge checks & registration
  • Reviewing current skill and talent market trends within eCommerce and other relevant sectors
  • Identifying gaps in distribution lists to ensure organizational alignment in communications
  • Completing other duties as required
Administrate the Pluralsight & Degreed learning platforms by:
  • Conducting skill assessment competitions to support the PDL skills inventory development, ensuring organizational knowledge strengths are maximized and gaps are closed
  • Facilitating user registrations and orientations
  • Maintaining the user base and learning library
  • Providing direction to users on the structure of content and efficient usage of upskilling time
  • Enabling managers to empower their subordinates via progress reports and dashboards
Collaborate with and support the Technology Knowledge Manager to:
  • Deliver Technology Orientation sessions to new hires
  • Build and manage intake processes for access and/or support requests
  • Champion career development platforms including Pluralsight, Microsoft Enterprise Skills Initiative, Degreed, DataCamp, LinkedIn Learning, etc. for upskilling of teams
  • Coordinate, schedule, and administrate learning events
  • Enable skill sharing and support a train-the-trainer model by inspiring skilled resources to mentor & share knowledge with others
  • Advocate for a culture of knowledge and skill sharing within PDL
  • Identify skills that are most critical to the organization's ability to execute its strategy both now and in the future
Knowledge
  • Fluent English language communication
  • Knowledge Management theory, practices, and/or tools (especially Jira, Confluence, & SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of technical writing
  • Knowledge of/exposure to upskilling platforms including Pluralsight, Degreed, Microsoft Enterprise Skills Initiative, LinkedIn Learning, etc.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and program adoption strategies
  • Knowledge of how to optimize organization of digital documentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development company structure and software delivery practices

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, & SharePoint software platforms required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with the Agile framework
