Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Support all maintenance calls to keep production equipment running at optimum efficiency, with due care given to part quality, throughput, and operator requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and tooling repairs.  The highest degree of urgency to be given to all safety related calls and conditions.Perform regular PMs on the equipment through the PM schedules.Improve operations through the Maintenance Project List, Continuous Improvement Activities and 5S.Report any conditions of spare part shortage/absence or other required parts to the appropriate maintenance planner.Coordinate coverage for extended shifts and weekend work.Coordinate work (calls, projects, PMs, etc.) within the department with direction from Production SupervisorsTroubleshoot electronic problems with actuators and sensors for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic functions. Also included are servo hydraulics and servo pneumatics, high resolution positioning, load cells, AC servo drives, electro robotic systems, electronic test equipment.Operate and use equipment such as, multi-meter, oscilloscope, amp gauges, Siemens PG units, and computers.Develop PLC program improvements and changes as required with support from the PLC Tech.Maintain required 5S standards in department.Ensure SAP requirements are kept up to standard (work orders / PM’s).
