We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will utilize and develop nutrition screening tools to appropriately identify patients at nutrition risk.What you will do in this role:
You will utilize the Nutrition Care Process for the assessment, diagnosis, intervention development and monitoring and evaluation of patients.
Your role initiates and develops nutrition assessment and nutrition care plans utilizing extensive knowledge and expertise in the Nutrition Care Process for patients with complex medical conditions, including critically ill patients and those on enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support.
Your role will provide nutrition counseling for inpatients and outpatients as indicated and develops nutrition educational tools for clinical nutrition.
You will adhere to nutrition care guidelines/manual to provide evidenced based nutrition care.
You will develop nutrition related department/facility guidelines and protocols to provide evidenced based care.
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelors Degree required, Master's preferred
Must be a Registered and Licensed Dietitian within the state
Previous Clinical Nutrition Manager experience preferred
Certification in Nutrition Specialty Preferred
Food Handlers orServSafeCertificate within90 daysof hire
Maintains CDR professional portfolio with at least 75 CEU’s within a5 year period required
What qualifications you will need:
Registered Food Service Manager (RFSM) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
