Description We are offering a long term opportunity for a Network Engineer in Northern Kentucky. This role is situated within the technology industry and will require engagement with various technological infrastructures. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing solutions for network issues, maintaining and updating network systems, and ensuring efficient network operations.Responsibilities: Develop and implement solutions for network issues to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot routine hardware and software issues effectively. Utilize Dell SonicWALL, Dell Switches, and Aruba Wireless skills in managing network systems. Conduct tasks in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency. Continually learn and keep up-to-date with technological skills relevant to the industry. Communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral communications with colleagues and clients. Assist in the installation of local area networks (LANs) and operate a variety of network related software programs. Assess user needs and develop appropriate solutions to meet these needs. Maintain knowledge of the variety and application of personal computers and peripheral equipment. Gain experience with cloud computing and virtualization for future technological advancements.Requirements A minimum of 3 years experience in a Network Engineer role, preferably working for a MSP. Proficiency in using Dell SonicWALL and Dell Switches. Experience with Aruba Wireless is a must. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices. Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization. A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
