In addition, employees are also entitled to participate in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.  Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.  POSITION PURPOSEThe TC Loader is a member of the Operations group and is responsible for the safe loading and preparation of shipment of various sulfuric acid products primarily in tank cars. This employee will work in a group to accomplish many of their tasks, therefore cooperation and the ability to work well with others is vital to this role. The TC Loader is also required to become a qualified truck loader as part of their progression.PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESDaily update the Car Location sheet, obtain loading schedule from the Wurtland Planning Tool, and verify product availability vs demand.The employee will be required to operate the plant Trackmobile to switch and move cars inside the plant. The employee will also be required to throw switches and couple/uncouple cars to spot for loading or to support the Control Room Operators (sulfur, aHCl, SO3).Perform pre loading/unloading inspections and complete form for any RC to be loaded/unloaded. Upon completion of loading/unloading, perform the post loading/unloading inspections and submit to Logistics Coordinators. The employee must know how to calculate amounts loaded for each car utilizing the outage tables or Car Calculator Tool.The employee will be responsible for understanding the PPE requirements for all products to be loaded and the loading situations (ie. first break, monitoring, sampling, etc.) when they must be donned/doffed.The TC Loader will be responsible for loading various sulfuric acid products and must understand the hazards associated with each product.The TC Loader will load various car configurations and must understand all DOT/FRA rules associated with each.The TC Loader is responsible for hooking/unhooking aHCl cars.The TC Loader will be trained in the proper use of the Brink’s back-up scrubber for normal loading operations and emergency situations. The employee will also be trained on emergency power and fume abatement procedures.The TC Loader must understand how loading operations affect and can be affected by plant operations and conditions (ie. tank lvls, scrubber performance, maintenance activities, etc) and what to do to mitigate any issue that may arise throughout the loading operation.Communicate with CCR on sulfur, aHCl, and SO3 railcar status and switch empty/full cars as needed.
