What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including at least 3 years in galvanizing or metal coating operations
Strong understanding of galvanizing processes, including hot-dip and/or electro-galvanizing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AISC standards
Ability to interpret structural steel drawings and specifications
Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
Strong organizational and time-management skills
What You’ll Do
Develop and lead a skilled production team through coaching, training, and engagement
Promote a culture of safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance aligned with OSHA and company standards
Monitor line performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
Oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and industry standards, including ASTM requirements
Partner with engineering and technical teams to resolve process and quality issues
Manage budgets, consumables, and energy usage while driving cost reduction
Coach and develop team members through performance feedback and skill building
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost per ton
