QA Technician

FULL-TIME

$18/hr

Assist manufacturing in maintaining required quality standards by performing quality inspections throughout a job run as well as performing final inspections on the specified product, including verifying weight counts and completing daily reports and machine inspections, and processing customer and internal samples. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies & safety rules.

Duties include:

- Assists manufacturing in maintaining the required quality standards through ongoing inspection.'

- Auditing all operator processes against Standard Operating Procedures.

- Verifying product integrity to job specifications – structure, color, size, layout, etc. using a variety of tools, measures, and methods.

- Identifying suspect product by completing and placing a hold tag on the load.

- Reading and understanding the combo and job tickets for quantities, selection numbers, size specifications, or other specifications before beginning the job.

- Reporting any questions or problems to the Quality Assurance Manager.

- Processing customer, sales, and internal samples to ensure the product meets specifications, color, copy, and pagination targets.

- Scanning UPC codes to ensure it meets customer specifications

- Packaging samples to prevent transit damage and label file room samples.

- Close out job bags

- Releasing jobs to the shipping department as needed.

- Completing required job and weight count reports daily.

- Performing final inspections for specified customers.

- Weighing jobs for count verification.

Qualifications
