DescriptionRENDERING SUPERVISORResponsibilities:

Monitor product by paying attention to yield and quality

Review equipment for proper functions and cleanliness

Make sure employees have reported for work and put proper alternates in place if not present

Observe that employees are correctly and safely performing their jobs

Update maintenance with any equipment or machinery problems

Suggest methods in improving production

Troubleshoot equipment operations

Sample products for quality and moisture levels hourly

Adjust production according to what fabrication produces and sends to rendering

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: (pick applicable)

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally

Previous experience in rendering

Experience in a management or leadership role

Electrical and mechanical background preferred but not required

Ability to manage and work with people

Computer skills required

College preferred but not required

Minimum of High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
