(https://www.commonspirit.careers/employee)Job DetailsOverviewAs our Long Term Rehab Nurse atCHI Flaget Memorial Hospital, you’llprovide care for patients who need additional time for healing and rehabilitation. You’ll begin each shift by taking report from a nursing teammate before making your rounds. You’ll provide continued care and perform procedures as detailed in the care plan.The unit is a 12 bed unit with all private rooms, a therapy gym and an activities room. The patient to RN ratio is no more than 8:1, with a certified nursing assistant.Flaget Memorial Hospital is a 52-bed facility located in Bardstown Kentucky. We provide care for patients from Nelson Hardin Marion Washington Spencer Bullitt and LaRue counties. Founded in 1951 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Flaget Memorial Hospital is nationally recognized for orthopedic care surgical care and inpatient satisfaction. We offer a complete array of services including cancer care heart care outpatient rehabilitation skilled nursing weight loss surgery pain management general surgery obstetrics and gynecology maternity care and sports medicine. The cancer center is proud to be able to provide full support and cancer care to patients through its medical and radiation oncology programs. CHI Saint Joseph Health supports 5000 active employees 8 hospitals specialty clinics and a Medical Group with more than 200 locations across Central and Eastern KY. Medication management and administration (oral meds, some IV meds including antibiotics)

Management of patients on oxygen

Coordinating care with managing physician

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree (ADN) in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or program

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license cleared by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or with eNLC multi-state practice privilege

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Long term care and rehabilitation experience. Acute nursing care experience is also acceptable
