Senior Accountant (Fully Vaxxed/No C2C)

Our client, a world leader in bedding and manufacturing, has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This individual will become an integral part of a dynamic department and will use their expertise mentor staff accountants.This Direct Hire role located in Lexington, KY, can provide the opportunity for an individual to grow in their career and join a team with core values in Purpose, Environment, and People. • Lead the close reporting process and manage the preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Detail assets, liabilities, and capital to assist in preparing the balance sheet, PL statements and the company's projected financial position
• Work with multiple departments to prepare and review documentation assisting internal and external auditors
• Work closely with the FP&A team providing financial analysis
• Mentor and support team members

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting position
• MBA or CPA required; CPA preferred
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Inquisitive, resourceful personality
