Manage large, complex supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and

responsiveness targets are achieved eradicating and/or escalating problemsefficiently both internally and externally to minimize impact on our business.Develop and agree contracts as required and manage and enforce complexcontractual obligations. Drive annual cost down and minimize supplier costincreases. Accountable for commodity Purchase Cost Variance (PCV) performancefor designated commodities.

Conduct large spend category requests for quotation, evaluation, negotiations, and

sourcing activities as directed in order to obtain a full range of products andservices from suppliers that meet planned performance targets and Meggittguidelines. Raise orders and/or other demand signals accurately and on time toensure all goods and services are supplied in accordance with customer andcompany requirements whilst at the same time optimizing levels of inventory.

Manage day to day activities in support of the procurement of materials and

services including obsolesce, engineering changes, part revisions, invoice issues,pricing discrepancies, expediting/de-expediting, cancellations, and themanagement of defective materials. Lead cross-function and senior level meetingsinternally and externally as required to ensure successful resolution of issues.Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations and company policiesand processes.

Manage system and supply chain performance parameters such as supplier contact

information, lead times, minimum order quantities, delivery frequency, andschedules. Review performance data related to purchasing effectiveness andefficiency and take a leadership role in driving corrective actions where necessary.Proactively work with major suppliers and commodities to discover and exploitopportunities for continuous improvement, performance improvement, savings,and other efficiencies by working across supplier and internal organizations.

Lead product development, VA/VE, supplier capacity analysis and other supplier

engagement processes in support of departmental goals including supplier accountreviews and appropriate account review action management.

Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business

· Proficient in Project Management tools (i.e., MS Project) or similar project tool (s)· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques· Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to federal and state tax codes· Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers· Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications· Intermediate level knowledge of PC software applications and strong understanding of PC operating systems· A strong technical understanding and willingness to be hands-on in a Microsoft development environment (SQL, WSS, HTML, XML, .NET, JavaScript, AJAX, Silverlight)· Good knowledge of related technologies such as WPF, ASP.NET, SQL, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Subversion, Hibernate, Spring· Expert technical knowledge of software applications, processes, products, and hardware architecture· Knowledge of the following communication and connectivity systems required: Microsoft TCP/IP, networking protocols, network printing / printer troubleshooting, file sharing, Internet application connectivity· Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (SQL Server 2008 (or newer)· Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes· Knowledge of ETL development, such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)· Knowledge of Multidimensional database development using tools such as SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)· Knowledge of Windows Server components including the registry, file systems, services, and system management tools· Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager / VoIP
