- JD Edwards.
- Not a traditional Business analyst, is looking for someone that also has experience within back-end development with SQL or JD Edwards or something similar.
- Design, develop, and implement ERP system application features and enhancements, managing tasks related to ERP administration, improvements, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Support global end users in all financial system functions related to the ERP application.
- Gather business requirements and prepare documentation related to functional or technical design documents.
- Create and/or improve processes for continuous improvement in development.
- Manage user defect/issue reporting queues and work in the ERP to determine the root cause and resolution of the defect/issue.
- Consult with business leaders to gather information about program needs objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
- Conduct functional testing and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases and system integrations based on user/business needs.
- Work with cross functional teams and technical consulting partners toward common goals or resolutions.
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes and culture, communicating with business users on system performance, status of enhancements and defects.
- Provide proper training to users and implement solutions that maximize value.
- Develop and maintain reports, workflows, and queries.
- Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating system. environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
- 5+ years of ERP implementation work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of Finance, Financial Reporting, ERP systems, Procurement, and business processes.
- Basic understanding of SQL concepts.
- Significant experience supporting Oracle's JD Edwards Enterprise One suite (Event rules, CNC Skills, ESU and tools release updates, etc.).
- Proven success in implementing enterprise applications.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously according to agreed-upon schedules and budgets.
- Ability to support a 24/7 365 information systems environment.
- Ability to obtain and retain racing and gaming licenses as required.
