SR. Full Stack Engineer (Java / Spring Boot)

An employer is looking for an Engineering director to join the team for an awesome new initiative that will set the tone for the organization for the next decade. This is a mission-critical position which is responsible for leading and motivating a team of high-level engineers in the Louisville or Lexington area throughout the design, development and test process across all products related to the organization. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is passionate about spearheading project initiatives and leading teams to success while focusing on the enhanced development of every team member. This individual should have an excellent history working professionally with technology implementation, strategy, team leadership, project management, fundamental technical knowledge, and the ability to provide clear and simple solutions across functional teams. This is a very interactive environment which will inspire collaboration daily from all levels of the team. - Experience building applications for cloud environments, such as Amazon AWS- Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar field- Experience working within the gaming industry- Scrum Certified- Project Management Certified- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field- 10+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise-grade web-based products, supporting the highest levels of scale and availability- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences- A strong track record of project delivery of large, cross-functional projects. Significant prior involvement in high-volume transaction environments (preferably gaming, financial, or other highly concurrent software projects)- Understanding of Java, JavaScript (Angular), Swift, Kotlin, MySQL and HTML5- Experience with the SCRUM agile methodology
