StampTech Fasteners TM Division Description:The ITW StampTech Fastener Division serves the major OEMs and Tier suppliers in the North American automotive market.  The division supplies stamped metal fasteners and engineered fastener assemblies that leverage our deep-draw stamping technologies. Tasks include but not limited to; setup, adjust and operate pin forming equipment, making machine adjustments keeping very close tolerances, and performing minor repairs.Key Responsibilities

Set-up and tear-down set-ups on Header/Threader and other equipment.

Pull tooling components for repair and re-install.

Load stock on de-coilers.

Verify stock size.

Check parts and dump into containers at required intervals.

Complete and sign-off on all paperwork.

Perform SPC checks and record data.

Dump scrap hoppers and scrap pans.

Move material and parts to the assigned area

Weigh and record containers of parts.

Perform minor equipment repairs.

Maintain machine and tooling lubricant and follow all preventive maintenance practices.

Train or assist in training new operators.

Operate a forklift or hand truck.

Perform machine repairs and adjustments.

Maintain good housekeeping standards.

Follow all rules, regulations, and work processes set forth by the company.

Maintain a safe working environment.

Other duties as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the business.

High school diploma or equivalent along with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience is required.

Must have the ability to operate all machines in the department and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.

Must possess strong math and communication skills.

The ability to read and understand ITW part prints.

Basic computer skills and various software systems (Microsoft/email) for logging and tracking results.

Working Conditions

Employee will be required to work in all areas of the plant; temperatures will vary.

Prolonged standing, crawling, kneeling and walking while performing job assignments.

Must be able to lift 45 lbs.

Safety toed/ slip resistant shoes, safety glasses and earplugs are required on the plant floor.
