Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our client located in Harahan, Louisiana. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, playing a crucial part in processing orders and providing excellent customer service. This role offers a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity and is pivotal in managing customer interactions through multiple phone lines and maintaining accurate records.Responsibilities: Learn product codes and effectively use them in the processing of orders Manage multiple phone lines, answering customer inquiries and taking orders Input orders into the system accurately and efficiently Determine appropriate shipping boxes and handle packing procedures Send processed orders to the warehouse for dispatch Handle general office duties relevant to the role Use Microsoft Word and Excel in daily operations Undergo training for 1-2 weeks before independently answering phones and taking orders Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the products sold and their system inputs Manage and monitor customer accounts, taking necessary actions when requiredRequirements Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to solve problems and handle customer inquiries effectively Must have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work well in a team as well as independently Must have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required High School Diploma or equivalent required, higher education is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Must have a customer-centric mindset and a positive attitudeRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
