DevOps Cloud Engineer

Position Summary This role reports into Head of Data Engineering, closely working with the data engineering team, and partners with enterprise CloudOps and Cloud Architecture to support a key data pipeline. Specifically, this role is responsible for enabling, testing, and maintaining cloud services & infrastructure, as well as DevOps software, in support of the data pipeline. A successful candidate in this role will have a deep understanding of infrastructure automation and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and techniques. This role will be an ambassador for proper SDLC and operate in an agile environment in the development teams and across the enterprise. This DevOps Cloud Engineer is hands-on and requires knowledge & experience working in scripting languages Python, Bash PowerShell and preferably at least one mainstream programming language such as Scala/Java. Additionally, knowledge of cloud services (AWS preferred) and operating system configuration management. This role will work with and support developers across agile teams as the expert in the development process and release practices and standards.
