Position Description CGI has an immediate need for a Drupal Developer (Angular, Microservices) to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location.

The Drupal Developer will be one of several developers working in an Agile environment, and the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to multitask and work in a diverse environment.

CGI is looking for CMS expertise (specifically Drupal headless, decoupled) for Digital Engineering work. An immediate need is a for Drupal Developer who has deep knowledge of best practices and architectures for employing CMS solutions in a variety of application archetypes. We heavily use Angular and embrace component-based and micro-frontend UIs with SPA and PWA web apps. Our preferences are to use Drupal in a headless, decoupled fashion. We don't intend to have Drupal at the center of and deeply entangled into our web applications but want it to be behind the scenes managing and publishing the content we need.

Your future duties and responsibilities Tasks and responsibilities may include but not be limited to Drupal upgrades and migrations, custom module development and implementation, issue resolution and troubleshooting, and operations and maintenance tasks. In addition to technical tasking, the Senior Drupal Developer may be asked to contribute to technical solution development. As a Senior-level position, the candidate will be expected to take charge of assigned technical tasks, working with the rest of the technical team and junior developers to deliver.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Drupal Expertise• 6+ years of experience with Drupal (including 7x, 8x, and 9x)• Hands-on experience with Headless/Decoupled website design & development• Experience developing web applications using front-end frameworks.• Experience building RESTful API• Ability to Integrate with Web services (RESTful/JSON, SOAP services)• Good communication skills• Experience working in an Agile Environment• Proven experience with Angular 4,5,6 / Typescript• Strong working experience with core Java APIs

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fieldDrupal Certified Developer or Drupal Certified Front End Specialist or Drupal Certified Back End Specialist desired
