HR Coordinator

Description Robert Half is partnering with a wonderful company in Plaquemine, LA that is searching for an HR Coordinator to join their team! Bachelor's degree preferred

1-4+ years of full cycle human resources experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience working in a HRIS

Ability to manage the full cycle HR process including benefits administration, employee relations, assisting with payroll, etc.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

Process employee changes, such as promotions, terminations, and leaves of absence.

Manage HR documentation and compliance with legal requirements.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

Help resolve workplace issues and mediate conflicts.

Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.

Support payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Provide administrative support to the HR department and senior management.

Assist with company events and employee engagement activities.

Assist in creating job descriptions and posting job ads.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates.

Conduct initial screenings and background checks.

Facilitate new employee onboarding process, including orientation and paperwork.
