Supplemental InformationJob Number- 62/50386655/HRA/08.13.24-TR Hammond , LA – District 62 Human Resources Analyst A/B/CFunction Statement:The overall function of this position is the management of the district Human Resources office. This position is located in District 62, Gang 001 of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to Administrator Program Director 3 (ADA of Business). The incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties many times with or with minimal supervision and also be able to interpret unforeseen conditions as they may arise. This position is responsible for performing specialized duties in all facets of Human Resources in District 62. Incumbent must exercise personal initiative, make independent decisions, and be aware of the legal ramifications of all aspects of human resource work. Incumbent must have a working knowledge of the retirement system, insurance benefits, human resources programs (SAP), and other policies and procedures as required by State government. Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with management, employees, retirees, as well as the general public, and be cognizant of the confidentiality required. The incumbent will participate in DOTD structured training programs as appropriate and attend all continuing education classes and conferences deemed necessary to facilitate the performance of required tasks.
