The 360 Experience

Our Internship program is a PAID program that will cover the dates June 6, 2022 to July 1, 2022 and July 11, 2022 to July 22, 2022. This will be 6 weeks total.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Average 40 hours per week.

Our Summer Internship Program is designed to be a 360 degree experience that immerses participants in hands-on work, fosters professional development, and cultivates community involvement.

This Internship will provide:

  1. Knowledge of the company’s First Power culture, vision and mission statements.
  2. An introduction to Commercial and Private Banking models with the added opportunity to explore other departments within the bank.
  3. The ability to work with different relationship teams to understand sales, relationship management, credit analysis, and loan portfolio management
  4. Full knowledge of the different roles and responsibilities that each member of the team performs daily.
  5. The opportunity to acquire specific skills that are needed to achieve professional goals and aspirations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Read financial statements and calculate financial covenants
  • Assist the relationship team with credit analysis and risk evaluation
  • Attend credit meetings with internal credit partners
  • Participate in special projects and team assignments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be available to start Summer 2022
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
  • Critically think through situations to reach logical conclusions based on available information
  • Be willing to work hard, be creative, think analytically, maintain a high level of organization and be self-motivated
