Job Description

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Be both highly technical and an influential people manager
  • Be a subject matter expert in a product domain
  • Led a team that delivers on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area
  • Motivate and support software engineers; help them grow by providing meaningful feedback, opportunities, and challenges
  • Drive roadmap creation and execution
  • Participate in technical design
  • Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations
  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution, and prioritization
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical management for all phases of the system development and implementation process, including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse and complex development platforms.
  • Manage multiple development projects, working closely with IT and business management to identify and translate complex business requirements into architectural design.
  • Provide technical consulting and leadership, identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for the system's design while providing a solution that meets the business' strategic objectives implementing and providing ongoing support for the applications
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • 1-3+ years of experience leading software development teams
  • Advanced expertise in React Native or Xamarin
  • Experience taking a lead role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Knowledge of best practices for the entire software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Superior communication and people skills
  • Ability to build support for architectural decisions and ideas by working with the various Technical Engineering Leads
