Under minimal to no supervision, the incumbent relies on experience, knowledge & judgment to accomplish various goals & objectives. Use standard & multifaceted procedures to perform increasingly complex tasks through demonstrated use of specialty skills & techniques for testing, in depth troubleshooting, assembling, disassembling, cleaning, detailed inspection, final prep through repair, overhaul & modification operations on a significant number of components & accessories using company approved technical data.Role Priorities:

Mechanical Repair Technician IIIThe Repair Technician III must meet all Repair Technician I & II requirements & demonstrate the aptitude to learn, retain, recall & validate proficiency on all items within the cell in conjunction with the following:

Champion and implement ACE continuous improvement project for site /Cell.

Assume the responsibility of completing the work assigned in a quality & timely manner under moderate to no supervision.

Will support & implement projects to meet business objectives.

Actively participate in CORE/ACE continuous improvement, environmental, health & safety

activities.

Remain informed of & understand Customer Service Level & Turn-Around Time goals for the team.

Comply with & demonstrate adherence to safety policies & procedures to include shelf

life procedures.

Comply with all site’s EH&S Program policies and procedures

Demonstrate safe work habits & maintain a clean & professional work area & participate in daily cleaning activities.

Utilize various computer systems by entering & retrieving information to perform normal daily activities

Primary Responsibilities:

Utilize various computer systems by entering & retrieving information to perform normal daily activities.

Work in close cooperation with your direct supervisor & other support personnel such as the Shop Engineer, Customer Service, Buyer, & Final Inspectors in a professional manner to resolve issues according to FAA & company regulations as directed.

May interface with internal & external customers (government personnel or auditors) as necessary.

Assume the responsibility of completing the work assigned in a quality & timely manner under direct to moderate supervision.

Must have advanced troubleshooting knowledge & be able to use measuring gauges & test equipment.

Work to specifications & use all required tools & equipment to perform assigned work according to FAA & company regulations.

Assist in the major & minor assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection & disposition of various types of components & accessories under direct to moderate supervision as required.

Check & validate LRU fit, form & function parameters in accordance with approved technical data.

Assist with test, troubleshoot & validate LRU performance in accordance with approved technical data.

Assist with minor rework/repair of components & identify scrap components & accessories under direct to moderate supervision as required.

Basic Qualifications:

HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required.

Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to utilize computer systems (SAP, MS Office, Etc.) to input & retrieve information

A&P License or FAA Repairman Certificate preferred.

Ability work & train employees on a significant number of products & processes within the cell.

Proven track record of delivering timely results in ethical and safe manner

have strong analytical skills to identify root causes of problems & provide possible solutions to correct the problem.

Analytical skills to independently identify and solve problems

Ability to troubleshoot & be able to use measuring gauges & test equipment
