As a Production Specialist, you create chemistry by

With your 10 years of chemical manufacturing experience, you will ensure operational excellence by delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective Wastewater Treatment & Infrastructure services to the Geismar site's 7 operating divisions.

Identifying and implementing optimization and continuous improvement opportunities

Providing technical support for root cause failure analysis in production and quality incidents

Managing the maintenance budget for assigned cost centers, tracking and analyzing spend, and updating forecasts in monthly reviews

Managing the maintenance backlog, ensuring accuracy and priority when converting notifications to work orders

Leading production coordination, planning, and execution of outage work, including maintenance and capital activities

Collaborating effectively with production and maintenance teams, supporting equipment preparation and isolation plans, and coordinating across shifts

Assisting the Production Supervisor in driving operational discipline and compliance

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and acting as PSM/RMP & RC audit protocol owner

Leading or assisting with projects, special assignments, and site or cluster initiatives, and acting as a manufacturing representative as needed

Participating in Geismar site focus teams and peer groups to align on key site initiatives and best practices

Supporting finite production planning and scheduling

Training and developing Production & Maintenance team members

Supporting reliability and maintenance engineers on equipment strategies and providing input on PM frequency, scope of work, and potential bad actors

Ensuring timely mitigation and elimination of SPEAR barriers for wastewater treatment and XA

Providing status updates to operators and the SPEAR team on barrier status
