Position Description: CGI is seeking a highly motivated Python developer to serve as a key member of our software development team. At CGI, you get to do more than just sling code, you get to build quality solutions as a full-time consultant with a world-class IT company.

You will be involved in a mission critical project, working with a team of smart, dedicated people like yourself who build solutions using Agile Methodologies and Cloud platforms for a variety of Healthcare Industry clients. Role can be performed from Lafayette, LA, Bloomfield, CT or other locations in US. Your future duties and responsibilities:• Development of applications using Python, Agile methodologies and Cloud platforms.• Working in an onshore, offshore model.• Following engineering best practices.• Work in an Agile environment, participate and contribute to ceremonies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• At least 3-5 years of Full Stack Engineering, including designing, developing, deploying & testing• Demonstrated experience in Python, PL/SQL, AWS• Good experience delivering APIs, RESTful, Microservices• Hands on experience with AWS services• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, spring boot, Hibernate, Maven• Database Experience with Oracle/SQL• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development around unit test automation using JUnit.• Experience with CI/CD tools such as, GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx• Agile and Safe principles• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $161,600.
