Job Title: Refrigeration HVAC Assembler and TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Refrigeration HVAC Assembler and Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems during the manufacturing process. You will ensure all refrigeration components are correctly installed and functioning, perform system charge, leak detection, and pressure testing, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and work with engineers to improve product design. Additionally, you will maintain detailed documentation of system performance tests and collaborate with quality control and production teams.Responsibilities
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Ensure correct installation and functioning of refrigeration components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
Perform system charge, leak detection, and pressure testing in compliance with EPA and industry regulations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues before units are shipped to customers.
Work with engineers to improve product design, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Maintain detailed documentation of system performance tests, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
Follow all company safety protocols and industry best practices for handling refrigerants and high-voltage systems.
Collaborate with quality control and production teams to ensure units meet performance and reliability standards.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Essential Skills
Experience in assembly, electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with hand tools and blueprint reading.
Experience in repair, production, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
Experience with electrical subpanel assembly, refrigeration copper installation, and soldering.
