A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Repair Expert, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of repair for engineered-to-order turbomachinery. Your day will involve providing guidance, training, and coaching to Repair Engineers, conducting audits, and collaborating on development projects to enhance repair operations. You will drive continuous improvement and foster a high-quality and safety culture within the Global Repair Network.How You’ll Make an Impact

Establish guidelines and Repair Standards to facilitate the highest level of inspection and repairs, and conduct Service Center audits globally to qualify and certify SE facilities.

Collaborate with Repair Engineers, provide guidance for the utilization of appropriate specifications and procedures, and support the resolution of customer technical issues within acceptable schedule requirements.

Participate in development projects with the Repair Technology group to enhance repair operations, innovate the repair landscape, and optimize engineering processes to support shop execution.

Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes within the area of responsibility, establish a high-quality and safety culture during scope execution, and drive harmony between product line and repair engineering teams.

Provide training, foster a learning environment for all repair engineers at different locations, and cultivate the repair group culture to build the repair knowledge footprint.

Mentor repair engineers, develop initiatives to enhance repair methods and inspection techniques, and support the Readiness Review process to ensure the outage planning process is complete.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in the oil & gas or power generation service industry, with a focus on turbomachinery. Thosewith more experience may be considered for a more senior level.

Demonstrated expertise in repairing turbomachinery equipment and creating/maintaining Engineering Standards.

High proficiency in manufacturing methods and previous Product Design experience.

Expertise in disassembly and reassembly, with a Field Service background being advantageous.

Previous exposure to Development Projects and design for manufacture expertise will be an advantage.
