Multi-state oil company seeks a full-time mature field man in the Opelousas area who has extensive knowledge of oilfield operations including gauging wells, engines, pumps, well heads, etc. You will occasionally sit wells overseeing workovers and you are not afraid of manual labor. Strong communication skills. Computer literate a plus but not necessary (MS Word). This is the perfect job if you've worked as a roustabout, floor hand, welder, mechanic or operator. If you are a hard worker you will go far with company.
You will work directly with the Mandeville, LA office employees.
Must be dependable, honest, have strong work ethic, and reliable transportation (preferably truck). Starting salary $40,000 yr plus monthly gas allowance and perdiem. Probationary period. Yearly salary evaluation. Perks and benefits.
