Special Needs Caregiver

Uptown family offering a care giver position for our special needs adult son living in our family home.

Full time or Part time position available

Shift options: 7am - 2pm OR 2pm - 7pm

Days needed Monday - Saturday

SCOPE of CARE:

Assistance will all aspects of Daily Living

○ Showering / Personal Hygiene

○ Toileting

○ Dressing, etc

Maintain Client's Personal Space

○ Light housekeeping

○ Laundry

Cooking for Client + meal prep

Accompany on Approved Community Outings

ATTRIBUTES we are looking for:

Employment in the medical field

Pre-Nursing, Pre-med Students, Occupational or PT students EMTS, etc

Education or Training in Special Needs

Flexibility & Reliability

Honesty & Dedication to their clients

A person who loves making a difference in the life of a disadvantaged person

Minimum of 3 Work Related References from previous employers, professors

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a car in good condition

Automobile Insurance

Drug Screening

Background Screening

COMPENSATION:

Payments through Acumen Fiscal Agent for State of Louisiana every 2 weeks via direct deposit to your checking account

20 - $22 / hour depending on skills, experience etc.
