Sr. Technical Product OwnerCategory: Project ManagementMain location: United States, Louisiana, LafayetteAlternate Location(s): United States, Connecticut, BloomfieldUnited States, North Carolina, RaleighUnited States, New Jersey, Morris PlainsPosition ID: J0224-0104Employment Type: Full TimeMeet our professionalsU.S. - The best version of mePosition Description:The best version of us starts with You!CGI has an immediate need for a Sr. Technical Product Owner to join our team.We take an innovative approach supporting our clients, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.This role is located in Lafayette, LA (preferred), but can be performed in Bloomfield, CT, Morris Plains, NJ, or Raleigh, NC, in a hybrid model.Your future duties and responsibilities:You will serve as the internal voice and own all aspects of your technical products, leading business value creation and managing overall product health within the Core Platforms, Business Analytics and Reporting, technical product domain.You will apply specialized product knowledge and expertise to understand business and technology objectives, communicate the product vision and roadmap, prioritize, and translate needs into requirements to ensure that expected outcomes are achieved.Work with multiple Scrum/Kanban teams.Managing team capacity & optimizing performance, building trusted relationshipsUnderstanding dependencies & broad knowledge of product/service offeringsIdentifying and engaging necessary stakeholders, technology, and expertise to drive alignment within projects or programs.Being a passionate advocate, with the ability to identify, champion customer needs, and improve with agile principles in mindWork Initiation – Collaborates with business and technology product owners/stakeholders to initiate new initiatives, supports the development of program specifications including the value statement, provides technology financial requirements/estimates, aligns with partners on the product/service to understand capacity and WIP to sequence initiatives appropriately.Change Agent – Partners with Community of Practice (CoP) to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize team performance using a metrics-based approach, ensures consistency with enterprise data standardsCollaboration/Impediments – Builds trusted relationships with business and technology partners, collaborates across functional, operational, and technology groups to ensure the appropriate engagement, assists with key stakeholder negotiations, serves as the main point of contact to resolve escalations, remove impediments, and tackle conflictsProduct Knowledge – Leverages product/service knowledge to identify impacts and guide decisions/sequencing based on that knowledge, understands dependencies outside of their product/service to align on expectationsSolution – Broad knowledge of Datamarts and Analytics technologies, ETL tools, service offerings & products within the Core Platforms, Business Analytics organizationRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:Passionate advocate, with the ability to identify, champion customer needs, and improve with Agile principles in mindAbility to work cross functionally with Business Stakeholders, Software Engineering, Data Design, CIP, Infrastructure, etc.At least 5+ years of experience as a technical product owner in Agile environment, with focus in the following Agile tools (JIRA, Jira Align), collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint), Visio, reporting tools (Tableau), ticketing systems (ServiceNow) preferred.Experience in Datamarts design & Analytics tools is MandatoryStrong SQL and Data Analysis is MandatoryProven skill at balancing technical knowledge with business acumenHigh degree of comfort in a fast-paced / ambiguous environmentStrong understanding of best practices of Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, etc.Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational and analytical skillsUnderstand and carry out written and oral instructionsAbility to work in a team with minimal supervision while under pressure and conducting several tasks at one timeAbility to plan, direct, coordinate work activities of othersAbility to use sound judgementHealthcare experience is mandatorySelf-motivated, adaptable, able to prioritize and motivate othersMust have a high-level understanding of AWS cloud.Education: Bachelor's degree and computer science or related filed#LI-SG6#LI-BK1#LI-ARK1#DICECGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
