Summer Student

Weyerhaeuser Company is seeking summer students to work in our Production, Maintenance, and Business services at our Engineered Wood Products (EWP) manufacturing facility in Natchitoches, LA. The production and maintenance students will report to the area supervisor. Their general duties will include performing housekeeping, cleaning, painting, production projects, and providing production support throughout the mill. The business services student will report to the HR Business Partner. Their general duties will include performing administrative support to areas such as HR, Finance, Safety, and general office.The wage for this role is $16.75 per hour.

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited agency/institution.

Successful completion of Grade 12 or GED equivalent.

The ability to follow safe work practices and procedures.

Able and willing to work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

Enrollment in post-secondary education. (Evidence of enrollment in post-secondary education / technical / university courses must be provided).

Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Ability to perform the job essential functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, and bending.

Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Must upload a resume which adequately documents employment history.

Willingness to work in Natchitoches, LA without requiring relocation assistance.
