Job DescriptionWe are seeking two contractors for a 2-3 month contract assignment to assist in the busy season for a distributor of heating and air supplies/parts. This role involves:
unloading/loading trucks,
packing orders for outgoing shipment
using a label printer and hand labeling packaged orders
operating a pallet jack and sit-down forklift, and
using a plastic wrap machine to wrap products. The assignment will last until the middle of September 2024, with the possibility of going internal, though this is not guaranteed.
Hard Skills
Previous general labor experience
Experience working in a non-temp controlled environment
Forklift operation (preferred)
Shift & Pay
1st shift / M-F / 7:30am-4:30pm with every other Sat 8am-11am
$17.50 - $18.00 based on experience

The work environment is in a building that was previously a manufacturing facility.
It is a non-temp controlled facility, so it will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
The dress code includes steel toe boots/shoes, jeans/work pants or shorts, and a t-shirt.
