Description We are inviting applications for the position of Part Time Accounting Clerk (Tuesday-Thursday), based in Bath, Maine, United States. This role focuses on managing accounts payable and receivable, procurement, and data entry tasks within a diverse industry primarily serving residential clients. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accurate processing Utilize Microsoft Excel to operate and manage numerical data Interact professionally with sophisticated clientele as part of daily tasks Process incoming packages, ensuring accurate tracking and recording Handle procurement tasks, including ordering and tracking of supplies Maintain customer credit records with utmost accuracy Assist in billing processes and invoice processing Ensure proper data entry and maintenance of customer applications Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed Contribute to the team by handling additional duties as requiredRequirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Demonstrated experience in Billing and Invoice Processing Proficiency in Data Entry tasks, with attention to detail Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting Knowledge and experience in Procurement activities Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other departments Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
