Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Kennebunk, Maine. The role is in the financial industry where you will be working as an Accounts Payable. The position involves handling the accounts payable function of our organization, managing financial records, and responding to related inquiries.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of all accounts payable transactions to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of invoices Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries about their invoices or payments Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find any inconsistencies or issues, and resolve these issues in a timely manner Produce monthly reports and assist in month-end closing activities Manage account payable using specific software and systems Collaborate with other departments to improve payment processes and reduce costs Use your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) to improve and streamline our financial processes. Requirements Proven experience in Accounts Payable role is mandatory Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Experience with accounting software and databases High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Demonstrated problem-solving skills Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
