Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Maine Motor Vehicle laws.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal rules and regulations pertaining to school buses and drivers.
Ability to maintain order and discipline on the bus.
Ability to communicate and work in a positive manner with staff and pupils.
Ability to perform minor maintenance and adjustments to bus.
Ability to lift independently objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, and no criminal and driving violations.
LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Maine Class B Motor Vehicle Operator's License with passenger and school bus indorsement.
